Message I have this setup. some older ones. Not sure which model. Me and a machinist pal did the conversion.

you must have the engine OUT of the car. Promise.

and it is a "conversion". look in the tech FAQs and search for Skyline. There's a good write up there.

they spool pretty quick--since they are a bigger turbo, but with a .49 A/R exhaust side.. that's the only reason why.

but really-- really --you should just consider getting a set of Sport 500s from JWT that have exhaust sides with an "automatic tranny" A/R ratio. JWT can make them. So, you pay for full-price turbos, right? think that's too expensive??

well the costs you save adapting or making down pipes, having gaskets made, your engine pulled, your exhaust manifolds machined welded and modified, your oil tubes bent to fit, --for Skylines....

plus Greg Duprees DPs fit Sport 500s and everthing bolts right on. way less $$ and way less headache.

unless you know a machinist personally and can weld your own exhaust system.
